Fast food in the morning
At last I’ve found a good way of getting breakfast. Normally I have avoided eating breakfast, because I easily get nauseous in the morning. But this way it works 🙂
The base is:
1 dl apple juice
1,5 dl coconut water
2,4 dl oat
3 teaspoon greek yoghurt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon flax seeds
- shopped nuts
- unsweetened apple mash
- fruit cut in small pieces like mango
- If you like dried fruit that works too.
Mix apple juice and the oat the evening before.
Mix with the greek yoghurt and the rest next morning.
If you need a more sweet tastes add f.ex. banana, so you use the natural way.
I have 2 glass bowls on 4 dl with air tight locks. I have one for breakfast. Then I eat lunch about 11:00 and then I have the next bowl about 14:00/15:00.
In Australia it was harder to make the big culinary experiments so I used a good granola without sugar and cereals if possible.
Sometimes in the weekend I make a de lux version where I add 1 banana and berries. Since Scandinavia has a very cold climate there is only fresh local berries from about July to September. Therefore, I always have frozen berries in the freezer.
